A trip to Porto - No picture and going home (final day)
On the 14th of July I woke up at 8.20am. Grabbed my stuff and went to the bathroom to do the usual: pee and take a shower. The cleaning lady was there and so I waited for her to leave so I could do my peeing and some other stuff alone. She left just after I'd done my peeing and so I felt comfortable to fart! Yes, I do fart!
Right when i was letting the gas out she came right back in. Embarrassing!!
After that "oh, so delightful!" experience - I'm not kidding, it was delightful... the farting part, haha! - I took a shower, went back to the room to get dressed and, when everyone was ready, we went downstairs to have breakfast.
I was hoping the guy from the reception, the one I fancied, was going to be there because we all wanted to take a picture with him to save as a memory. Unfortunately he had left at 8am... So I did not get to take the precious picture :(
We grabbed some food and had the final breakfast of our trip. I ate chocolate cereal! Yummy!!!
After having breakfast we went upstairs to grab our things and then came down to check-out. We asked if we could leave our bags there as our train to Lisbon was only going to leave at 10 to 5pm. The guy at the reception said "Sure!"
We left to explore a bit more of the city and it was probably the best day of exploring.

We went to the riverside, took a lot of photos and even crossed the bridge to Gaia. We stayed there for about 10 to 15 minutes and then came back to Porto because we were starving.
There we had one of Porto's typical snacks, the "Francesinha". It was not the best but that restaurant did not seem to be very good either, although it was pretty funny to see the competition between the waiters.
That being said I have to say the service was cool!
After lunch we went back to the hostel nearbys so that we were closer to "home". We walked for a while and then, when it was all too much for our feet, we sat in a park, under the shadow, for about an hour. At around 3.30pm we went back to the hostel, grabbed our bags, made some sandwiches for later and said our goodbyes.
After the receptionist had wished us a good and safe trip my sister said "We'll be back next year!" He laughed. We all laughed.
Just around the corner there was a Costa Coffee which I really wanted to go to as there's only a few of those in Portugal - which is pretty weird as Costa Coffee is, like Nando's, portuguese. We went inside, ordered our drinks and sat there for a while, - we had plenty of time - had a little photoshoot! (it's all very new to us). We stayed there for a good 20 minutes and once we had finished our drinks we went to the train station.
There I had a bit of a pre-panic attack. I was extremely nervous as we did not bought a train ticket because the website of our hostel said that we could use our big-train tickets. It's complicated to explain but the fact is I was very nervous and anxious about that... But in the end it was all okay. We arrived at our station and had to wait 20-25 minutes for our big boy train to arrive.
There was a cute boy there so as pretty classy and usual of me, i started getting nervous and when I'm nervous I tend to sweat... How feminine and flattering of me!!!
The train arrived, we entered it and the 3 hours went by so much faster than I was expecting. I was not a peaceful trip but there were a few good moments. We arrived and our fathers were there waiting for us.
This was the end of our fantastic 3 days and we were all very sad that it ended but also very happy about all of the amazing things we had the privilege to experience.
The End!!
Thanks for reading!
If you want me to do more post like this just let me know :)
(There will be bonus posts just with pictures of the trip because I have a lot I want to show. Those posts will be up soon, keep checking.)

A trip to Porto - One Direction's concert and seeing my friends (day 2)
Once we got there we went inside the mall next door, went to a few stores, bought a few things and met up with friends. We all had lunch at different times but we were together, most of the time. After that we went to Zara and me and my sister bought clothes, which we changed in to, as they were more comfortable and more concert appropriate.
At around 2pm we went outside because the heat inside the mall was too "heated", was making some of us feel sick and others sweat like it was the end of the world (such a beautiful image...). Outside had been hot but it was a lot fresher and under the shadow it was bearable. We stayed there, went to the mall again after a while to buy some drinks and went back outside.
At around 4.15pm we decided to go to the gates, to enter. There was a lot of people still and the sun was burning my back as the shirt I was wearing that day (the one I'm wearing as I'm writing this blog post) is backless.
(the gates before 3.30pm)
When we got inside the first thing I thought was "bathrooms, i have to pee"! In the bathroom I did pee and also filled up my water bottle. Once we actually entered the stadium
we searched for a good place and we ended up staying with two friends of mine. We had to wait 1hour and 20min before the show actually started and in the mean time we chatted, made jokes, danced, sang, listened and watched the people inside the stadium go mad and do "the wave" several times. At 6pm they started playing songs and the highlights for me were when the played 5SOS, favourite australian boys, Olly Murs, always good for a boogie and Little Mix. I jumped off the floor right when the songs started, screamed like a little girl and sang my heart out, dancing and shaking because of the adrenalin (the actual concert hadn't even started, it was far from that and I was already in "Crazy Carolina Mode").
At 7pm the opening band D.A.M.A. started their show. I sat down for the whole thing. I am not a fan of the band, I was pretty tired and I'd rather be jumping and singing (more like screaming, once again "Crazy Carolina Mode") whilst One Direction were playing...
When that was over we listened to another hour of songs and this time the highlights were Little Mix's 'Wings' and 'Salute'. I was literally shaking and singing as loud as I could and dancing and everything. I absolutely adore them! And the funniest thing happened... I had gone to the bathroom and right when I was finished and went to wash my hands 'Salute' started playing. I ran outside, looked for my sister, who had gone with me, and as I didn't see her and absolutely didn't care about her at that precious moment of my life, I went to the field of the stadium... literally dancing whilst walking down the stairs and doing all sorts of movements that showed how into the song I was. When i arrived to our little spot on the field I danced and sang and didn't care about anything else. I was going for it and it was probably one of the most embarassing things I had ever done because by the time the song ended, and also whilst it was still playing, there was a mum of someone looking at me, judging me hard time. She did it when I was dancing and she kept doing it when I sat down after the song had finished. I didn't see this happening because I was really commited to the song and to my dance moves... I ended up knowing about this afterwards and I thought it was pretty funny. Definitely a moment to remember!
Then it was time! One Direction were finally going to start their show and it was incredible. They were so fun, jumping, running and doing all sorts of weird stuff, pulling funny faces... typical 1D boys!
- Liam hurt his foot so he was sat down for the whole show, apart from one song. It was really cute, the fact that he made that effort for his fans! CUTE!!!
- Niall was his usual silly self, pulling lots of faces, telling us the news about the World Cup Final, playing the guitar whist looking damn sexy!
- Harry was looking dashingly gorgeous and so sexy with that bandana of his, talking loads and sending loads of kisses to the fans nearest the stage!
- Louis was also his usual self, very chatty, very funny, very dummy! (in a good way!)
- And Zayn was hot, as he normally is, every day, every hour, every minute... and you could tell he was loving it!
I absolutely love them all and loved the show!
But I have to be honest, I liked the concert of the previous tour better but this one was still very good. I wanted them to sing a few songs from the previous albums and more songs of the current album but still I had a great time and I didn't want it to end!
(If you want to see pictures of the show there's gonna be a blog post just with pictures in a few days. Keep an eye for that.)
When the show was finished it was really hard to leave the stadium but when we finally managed to do that we went to the train station and took a train from Estádio do Dragão to Trindade. Then we had to take another train to São Bento so we looked for the ticket machine to obviously buy a ticket. We couldn't find the machine so we went to São Bento with no ticket. Shame on us...
The hostel was about 10min away from the train station but it felt like a long walk as we were all very tired and dead. Once we arrived there all we wanted to do was have a shower and get into bed. But something had to happen... at about 1am two of the receptionists, the one that I fancied and the one we all like to call alcohol because we didn't know his name, were outside having a cigarette and then they saw us arriving, all looking miserable and tired and dead. All they could do was ask how had the concert been. We said it had been good and then climbed the stairs up. Once again I started sweating, classy me!... So embarassing! I hope they don't remember me if I ever go there again...
They went into the reception and we went to our room, two floors above. And that was the last time I saw the good looking receptionist!...
All we did when we arrived to our room was eat something because we didn't have dinner, take a quick shower and go to bed. It had been a fantastic day!

A trip to Porto - Meeting Vânia Fernandes (stellabeauty08) and giving money to prisoners and pedophiles (day 1)
One Direction's last concert of the european tour was gonna be in Porto, Portugal so me and a lot of friends planned our separate little trips not only to visit Porto but also to attend the concert.
My group was me and 3 other girls, one being my sister. My other friends planned their own trips with each other. This goes back to when 1D first announced they were coming back to Portugal, this time on their "Where We Are Tour". We all bought our tickets and started planning the trips. One of the girls in my group offered to search for hotels or hostels and she ended up planning the whole trip.
I was not too sure about that because I'm very picky with things and I like to be the one planning them. But I was very wrong! The hostel the 4 of us ended up going to was and is absolutely incredible. The Yes! Porto Hostel (http://www.yeshostels.com/pt) has great rooms, very clean bathrooms, a ton of services and, in general, a great environment.
One the 12th of July we traveled, by train, from Lisbon to Porto. We were all very nervous as it was our first no parents or adults travelling experience.
In the train I was on Twitter and I found out that Vânia Fernandes (https://www.youtube.com/user/Stellabeauty08) was in the same train as me. I tweeted her and when the train arrived to the station we met. She is the nicest person, so lovely and so cute. I just wanna be friends with her!!! We said our goodbyes and I got a hug from her, so cute!!
Then we, me and my friends and sister, had to catch another train to go to the hostel. When we arrived something great happened to me: I almost fell!! But it was all good as I think no one saw it.
We searched for the hostel and when we finally found it we were sweating like pigs because it was very sunny and very hot. We entered the hostel, climbed up a few stairs to go to the reception. We were welcomed by a very nice boy, in his 20s, who happened to be very cute and good looking. He asked us if we were tired, I'm guessing because he could tell that by looking at us. We all looked miserable!! Just a little bit...
We were about to paid our stay in the hostel and when we were grabbing the money off our wallets I suddenly was very nervous and started sweating even more. I grabbed my money, a pack of notes, 250€, and started couting to take off 70€ to pay, 35€ for me, 35€ for my sister. He said the price like twice and I still couldn't understand it. But it wasn't as bad as I'm describing it. After sorting out the payments he gave us our room keys, which were in fact bracelets, explained us the rules and gave us informations about the hostel. He was very very nice!
We went upstairs and chose our beds, locked up our things and got ready to leave to explore the city.
At first it was all very confusing but after walking through a few streets and eating some ice cream we decided to go back to Torre dos Clérigos and from there, following our map, we tried to visit as many places as we could and along the way a lot of things happened...
My sister and one of the girls got a hand kiss and flowers from a good looking boy; I almost fell... again; We took pictures; We tried to find the supermarket, which took ages...
But the most interesting things that happened were when we were walking and man came up to 2 of us and started telling us his life story. He was asking for money and said that he'd rather ask people than do crazy shit to people because he didn't want to go back to prison, as he had been there for 4 years. We gave him a few coins, he thanked us and left. Then when we were trying to find a place to have dinner at a man came up to us and said he knew a good and cheap place to eat at, which was very famous around there. He led the way and at first it didn't seem suspicious. But then we started walking too much and went into kind of a dead end road, very dark and dirty. My sister was walking next to him, because she didn't knew that he was the one who had came up to us and that he said the restaurant was just down that street, and the rest of us were walking in the back planning a strategy to get rid of the man. It was all very strange and suspicious. I pretended someone was calling me right when we arrived at the dead end street. The man said to us: "C'mon, the restaurant is just up there. C'mon, don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." What a pedophile, we thought. We got rid of him by saying that a friend of ours was calling us and we needed to meet up with her. The man said okay and asked for a few coins to pay for the bus. At first he asked for 50cents, then 1€ and after giving him that he asked for more 50cents. He left with just 1€ and went up to other people to ask for more money. Bloody fucker!!
We arrived at the hostel, which was just around the corner, got ready to leave once again and found a nice, near by, chep place where we ate beautifully!!
The rest of the night was peaceful. We were at the common room for a while, read a magazine in german, took pictures and chatted.
If the first day of this trip had been like this I couldn't imagine what the other two would be like!

Where have I been? What is new?
(This is something I wrote days ago but I still wanna post it! Enjoy!)
First of all I would like to apologise for not posting or uploading in a long time, mainly posting because writting is something that truly helps me feel better about myself, whether I've been having a good or a bad day... What I'm trying to say is I'm sorry for not putting up content for you guys and I'm sorry, I apologise to myself for being so tired, stressed and busy doing nothing truly important. I've not been doing what really matters to me nowadays and it's sad... but enough with the sad apologises!
To anyone that cares to know what's been going on lately in my life here's a brief explanation: the last days of school and the exams have been killing me!
I don't have school anymore but I still have 2 exams to take, one on the 18th and the other on the 23rd of this month. After that I'm gonna be all relaxed and less tired, which means my brain is gonna work 10 times better, which means there's gonna be content to put up! Yay!!
But... that content is only scheduled to be posted/uploaded in mid-July because I'm going away on holiday for 10 days, come back for one day and then go away for 3 more days. I do have a week in between the last exam and my holiday but I'm gonna take those days to hang out with my friends before we stay apart until like August...
Also there's a few things that are gonna change:
-I decided to make a vlog channel, so now I have two channels
( Main channel & Vlog channel )
-I'm gonna be posting twice a week on my blog
-my content is still gonna be the same but there's a lot more coming
Be ready!!!
Love,
Carolina Rosalie

Hello?!
Hello! I'm not really sure what to write in this post but as my last one was over a month ago I felt like I couldn't not write, even if just to say hello.
And why have I not been writing? Well, I've been quite busy with the last weeks of school and exams and things that were very overwhelming, in a bad way as I wasn't enjoying them.
I'd like to say that's all gonna change now but it's not the truth...
For this "thing" that I feel like I'm trapped in to change I must change myself.
And if you are wondering what the "thing" is, well it is my life! A sad, boring and stressful life that has a tiny amount of happiness in it once in a while.
Can I change that? Yes, yes I can!
What do I have to do to change that? I have to go out of my comfort zones, believe more in myself, don't feel sick or stressed about simple life things that make me, most of the times, feel anxious.
So what am I gonna do first? First of all I'm gonna take a couple of weeks to just relax and not to worry about anything but myself, just have fun and leave my problems and anxiety back home. That's the main thing on my mind now! I'm gonna go away next monday, the 30th of June, and I'm gonna come back on the 10th of July. I'm only gonna be here for a day, as I will go on a 3-day holiday, from the 12th to the 14th of July. After that I hope to be relaxed, with a fresh mindset and ready to change my life for the better and do what I enjoy!
The next 10 steps I'd like to take...
I want to: keep doing Youtube and blogging
enjoy the rest of my Summer like I never enjoyed one
look for jobs and courses that interest me
learn how to cook
explore the city I live in
hang out with my best friends often
go out everyday, even if just for a walk to get some fresh air
take lots of pictures and record videos (because memories are important)
keep writing my novel (I started writing a novel, how cool is that![it's nothing serious, I'm writing it for myself])
be healthy (food, exercise, sleeping, people, activities, etc.)
These are the first 10 things I want to start after I come back. I want to keep doing them for a long time, some of them for the rest of my life. I will find more things to had to this list, eventually, but for now 10 it's more than good.
Feel free to comment down below some of the things you'd like to do to make your life better and happier! Or comment anything else, something you'd like to say.
Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!
Love,
Carolina Rosalie
